(More customer reviews)We returned this doll back to the store we purchased it after owning it for 1 day. My 4 yo daughter noticed her doll was hot. It was extremely hot and was making popping sounds. I immediately took it back to the store where they removed the batteries-I was to afraid to touch them as they also were extremely hot. The outfit was charred on the doll, one of the batteries partially melted, and some of the plastic around the motor and battery compartment was also melted. The doll likely would have caught fire had the store not removed the batteries. The manufacturer is looking into the situation. However, I am writing reviews to try and keep a little girl from being injured. It could just be a one time thing, but I would want to know this before buying this toy. My daughter was getting ready to go to bed with her new baby and the thought of what could of happened is terrifying.
