(More customer reviews)I ordered this doll for my 3 yr old daughter for Christmas. She loves playing with dolls in the bath & I thought she could even use it during summer in the pool. We didn't even get as far as testing it out in the bath, because upon removing the doll from the box to insert new batteries, the doll's swim cap slid back and I saw the doll's head was COVERED in purple dots. Apparently, the dye from the swim cap imprinted in tiny dots all over the dolls head. Not in just a tiny place- ALL.OVER. Looked like the doll had measles. I attempted to clean it off with a Mr. Clean magic eraser, and it didn't do squat. The doll's head was completely stained with the purple ink. My husband thought it was no big deal, but for a doll that cost almost $40, that is just unacceptable to me. Guess this is what I should expect from a toy made in China. It's in our "return" pile :(
I gave this toy 2 stars instead of 1, only because it does have the potential to be a fun toy, we just never got to try it.

The You & Me Swimming Doll is a MUST HAVE for any swimming fan!! Cute baby doll dressed in bathing suit and cap who, when placed in water swims! She can do the backstroke and front stroke. Comes with a rubber ducky. When placed in the water she giggles and swims.
