Straight from the box it looks, feels, and smells like a high quality doll. The fabric is soft, it is stuffed just the right amount to make it lightwieght, easy for babies to grasp, and to cuddle. The plastic face and hands have that classic corolle warm vanilla smell (no terrible plastic smell).
In my house, the babipouces have been chewed on, drooled on, played with, slept with, dropped, dragged, stolen by a dog, and thrown in the washing machine over and over again and they still look fabulous!!!
I highly recommend this doll as it is a perfect first baby doll, excellent quality, and a great value.
